Steve MeyerovitzSteve Meyerowitz was christened "Sproutman" in the 1970s in a feature article in Vegetarian Times because his New York City apartment was always filled with gardens of mini-vegetables. They were part of his lifetime fight against chronic allergies and asthma. After 20 years of disappointment with orthodox medicine, he became symptom-free through his use of diet, juices, and fasting. In 1980, he founded "The Sprout House", a "no-cooking" school in New York City teaching the benefits of a living foods diet.

Mandy is a graduate of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in California where she received her certification as a Raw Food Chef and Instructor. As a dedicated and passionate chef and mother to five children, she is passionate about sharing beautiful, delicious and healthy raw-food cuisine from her numerous study and training experiences. Mandy has catered and hosted events with talented chefs and health educators throughout the world including Paul Nison, Chad Sarno, Peter Cervoni, Jordan Rubin, Tonya Zavasta, and Rene Oswald.

Mandy can also be seen on the television series Extraordinary Health, a weekly health program featuring Jordan Rubin, author of The Maker’s Diet, as host of The Perfect Snack – raw recipes for quick snacks on-the-go. Dr. Edwin Riley (Writer)

Dr. Edwin Riley is a writer, teacher and holistic psychotherapist. He received his doctorate in the emerging field of Mind/Body Medicine, Transpersonal Psychology and Integrative Health Care, and completed a mindfulness-based stress reduction program under the direction of Dr. John Kabat-Zinn. Dr. Riley teaches Chi-Kung and meditation, and is currently authoring two books: Stress Rx: A Guide for Living Meditation and Serendipity, an autobiographical work on life's synchronicities.

Nan O’Brien

Nan O'Brien has had the ability to receive spiritual messages since she was a child. As a medium and intuitive counselor, she has helped thousands of people worldwide achieve clarity, peace, and healing. Using her gift as a medium, O’Brien works with police departments on investigations, such as missing person’s cases. Her latest case involves the investigation of missing news anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit.

In addition to her private sessions, O’Brien is a published author and well-known public speaker. Dr. Frank Sabatino

Dr. Frank Sabatino is the Health Director of the world famous Regency House Health Spa in Hallandale, Florida where his lectures and care have inspired thousands over the past 10 years. Dr. Sabatino is a chiropractor with 22 years of clinical experience in wellness care, and an internationally recognized research scientist, and expert in holistic health care, clinical nutrition, and the therapeutic benefits of water only fasting.

Dr. Sabatino also received a Masters degree (M.S.) in neurobiology and cell biology (1986), and a Ph.D. in neuroendocrinology (1988), and has served as assistant professors at both Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia and at the medical school of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Sabatino is currently on the advisory board of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and is a member of the Board of Governors of the International Association of Hygienic Physicians (IAHP). He also enjoys writing, tai-chi and chi gung, playing the blues harp, and spending time with his family.

Shanti Cousens (Yoga)

Director of Yoga and Guest Services at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona, Shanti is an aromatherapist, senior teacher of Kali Ray Tri yoga (a kundalini-inspired flowing form of hatha yoga), and lives a life devoted to service and commitment as a life-long student of the spiritual and healing arts.
